Dr Sunirmal Mukherjee has 14 years of experience in Orthopaedic Surgery and training. He is currently an Honorary Consultant in Orthopaedic Department at Somaiya Medical College and also Visiting Consultant at Shatabisha Clinic Thane (Proposed Medical College at Thane) . He is currently Consultant at Lilavati Hospital, Bandra and Hiranandani Hospital, Powai as Knee & Shoulder Surgeon.

Dr Mukherjee specializes in management of complex Trauma and complications related to Trauma. He also specializes in management of orthopaedic conditions of Hip, Knee and Shoulder. He has performed numerous replacement and arthroscopic procedures of Knee, Shoulder and Hip. He finished his training from the U.K for arthroscopy and replacement surgery of Hip, Knee and Shoulder joint.

Dr Mukherjee has worked in numerous charitable institutes during his orthopaedic practice. He has worked in Dr D. Y. Patil Hospital, Navi Mumbai, Grant Medical College/ Sir J. J. Hospital and Apollo Hospital, Navi Mumbai for many years in past and held academic positions.
